Mauzy has deep roots in the San Diego community, with decades of outstanding service to the city. In large part, the company’s story is Matt Mauzy’s story. Matt grew up in the heating and air conditioning business, learning it from his father, Gary Mauzy. Gary taught Matt the business as a craft, not just as a trade. He schooled Matt in the mechanics of heating and air conditioning, but also stressed the value of service – and of consistently exceeding customer expectations.

Matt’s strong, principled, professional foundation evolved over time into a peerless heating and cooling practice with an unmatched reputation. Mauzy Heating and Air Conditioning is the successor to Southwest Heating and Air, a highly reputable, long-established San Diego firm. Matt acquired Southwest in 1995, and under his family name, has greatly enhanced the company’s revenues since then.
